quote, thought, image

quiet day. peaceful even.

today’s thought and quote comes from a discussion on energy work, the purpose of shamanism, and related themes:

“shamanic energy work is about debugging negative programming that limits the potential and functionality of the ecosystem itself, because any one part of it operates dependently with all other parts. the integration of these subtle dependancies wins over the isolation of seeing everything as independent, seperate and discrete, not to just see what is to be seen, but to see what is unseen, and use unseen energies to maintain our senses amd sensory perceptions, inside and out.”

i follow a number of these discussions, chasing a thread of something i do not write about here. i find it interesting how many of the people who claim shamanistic roots or culture are unable to simply say what is being said in the above… moreso, how one particular someone who so often insisted they were of some shamanistic competency so often luxuriated (there really is no other word for it) in their negative programming. actively coding twisted, barbed adventures for themselves.

another quote, this one i’ll not be attributing, either:

“If you really want to know who I am, you have to be as absolutely empty as I am. Then two mirrors will be facing each other, and only emptiness will be mirrored. Infinite emptiness will be mirrored: two mirrors facing each other. But if you have some idea, then you will see your own idea in me.”

that really resonates here, for a number of reasons. if you read here much, you’ll immediately get how and why and then, laugh with me.

on to the evening… hope yours goes well. (smile)

oh, hah… almost forgot the image. this is very likely one of the most vibrant and evocative fractals i’ve found lately. not sure why. but i’ll think on it until i know. (grin)
