i’m actually excited for this… the domain and its mirror are up and running, the template is set, the links for connection to a mailing list and auto-publication/update are in place (with a whitelisting moderation too!), and once the archives are online, it will be time to begin the presentation/marketing.
this feels really good. i am hopeful scrytchers of old will choose involvement… so much talent there. surely they cannot all have forgotten the dream.
i know there will be new ones. and perhaps it is foolish, but i want those who were there for the planting to feel welcome. maybe they will. i hope.
and i’ve reconsidered on heath and michael. there’s enough in place that there’s no need to ban them outright. not until or unless they insist on tearing it up. i may well be a fool to think they can possibly be present and not do so… but that’s ok. i push down the reflexive bile and insist on not pre-judging. after all, is that not what they did that wound us up here?
time will tell. but regardless them, this will be a good thing. i smile for it.
