well. email to post works, but text messaging to blog does not. so much for being able to holler for help if needed in the middle of nowhere. bleh.
friends coming over to pick up/out the things they want to take and tomorrow morning, the computer gets broken down and the remainder of things go into the last box. then…. shower and fresh clothes and load the truck and off i go.
in typical odd fashion, at the last possible minute, i get a ping from a friend in dallas with a possible job. i dutifully sent along the resume, but made it clear that once i’m in the truck in the morning, it’s seattle or bust. and since i’ve not heard from anyone in dallas, that’s pretty much that.
so. ready to go. calm and slightly sleepy. been a long day. will be glad when friends have come and gone so i can sleep. this will be the last blog entry until i’m online in seattle or make it to their library. heh. so… until then, if you’ve got my phone number and want to give a ring, feel free… and if not, feel free to load up my mailbox and that’ll bring a smile when i can read it.
