the test assignment is complete, the mental attic is cleared, and no matter what the coming week, i believe i am done with a few things more that i’ll not bother to list. feels good. very good, actually.
the last two days have convinced me of a number of things, not the least of which is to shatter a certain semi-precious stone ring and remember to set my sight upon mountains rather than graveyards.
up from the ashes. hah. i am smiling. and a certain, savage aspect that has lain sleeping longer than she should have wakes once more. have you ever buried something so deeply that you forgot it was part of you? the sheer, feral delight of her waking is difficult to explain or express.
i will not try. it doesn’t matter. heh. suffice to say i am content to let that which has been sorely abused over these last years take rest.
