canada bots are on the loose again and thus, the search for another ban plugin. successful, i migrated off htaccess (which was slowing things down and wasn’t quite working as i’d like) and to a nifty little plugin called wp-ban.
now, those who are not welcome will receive a notice that says so quite bluntly.
in addition, those who are not welcome who are trying to cruise here during their work hours are being advised that the logs are going to be sent to their employer if the hit counter maintained by the plugin goes over 1 hit.
one. this isn’t baseball and i’m really quite sick of the sickos who, not content to be sick and behave inappropriately, continue to crawl over my site.
nothing like a good plugin to make one’s day. 🙂
