very humorous day, already. heh.
one of my birthday cards this year was ‘fun with martha stewart’. don’t ask. (chuckle) and i’m presently wearing my new, favorite t-shirt that reads (a la caution sign):

mom says what makes that so funny is that you’d have to know me to know how untrue that is. then again, she also readily admits that when my temper actually launches, there is no such thing as ‘safe’. heh.
not much to report… found a nifty room on IRC that i enjoy. been a time since i’ve indulged, but (at least in the place i found) quality seems to be winning the war on quantity. makes me feel good. i remember when the internet was a place where brilliance and community were extremely strong. i like the feeling that it hasn’t totally departed in the face of commercialism and the mainstream.
the dogs are playing ‘how long does it take to be barking mad?’ in the yard. they love to bark. holy crap.
“hey! it’s a stone!”
