a funny thing happened on the way offline last night…
i was helping a friend in Desolace, and oddly, after some time without any thought of it at all, i suddenly had the urge to close the door for Shan.
all roleplay contains a kernal (at least) of truth, and this is no different in that regard. for some time, Shan has quietly mourned and generally remained aloof in certain ways to the world around her.
in parallel to recent, real world closures, i decided it was high time to have the virtual one.
the result, a ‘comic’ in which Shan revisits the single location that has been so pivotal to the things of that world and those moments. and, in typical fashion, she speaks to the universe and to the bones and makes her peace with it.
a final, official farewell to the one who long since walked away. it was time to have her accept the abandonment is real, total, and complete. she feels much better about it now that she has finally let it go.
