” There is no mystery whatever – only inability to perceive the obvious. ‘All Else is Bondage; Non-Volitional Living’ “– Wei Wu Wei
makes a good point. missing the obvious is pretty much the same as handing yourself over in chains. and the ‘doh’ moment isn’t much fun, either.
morning meditation is very likely my favorite time of day. afterward, i float on these crystal waves a time and let what insight the universe intends to deliver find me. here’s another tidbit… sometimes i think they’re crumbs from the table of nirvana… but then i remember, that’s only because i’m looking at the floor:
“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.” – Arundhati Roy
