i am a human upon a planet
i wonder because it is what humans do
i explore and in it, find knowledge
i make and unmake all things
i am a fish in the big ocean
i swim because it is what fish do
i breathe water and in it find air
i shiver and shudder to exist
i am a flower in the hidden meadow
i lean because it is what flowers do
i drink in the sun and in it find life
i tremble and sway, rooted in place
i am a stone upon a mountainside
i sit because it is what stones do
i draw heat, cold, and in them find peace
i vibrate and am transported by outside forces
i am a breeze over an altar
i touch because that is what breezes do
i embrace all things and by them, am changed
i carry all nothingness everywhere
i am still human
though my mind
my body and
my spirit have
been many things
and no things
and all things
i still wonder
shiver and shudder
tremble and sway
vibrate and am transported
embrace all things and
by them
am changed
i would be that fish
i would be that flower
i would be that stone
i would be that breeze
i would be everything
i would be nothing
