had this idea in my head for a few days now, finally got the tile done. i finally realized i should keep the base images from which i make these, if nothing else, of some casual interest in future. until now, all original images were destroyed after use, unless they were my own collection of photos or base textures.
this one, compiled from images of refugee camps and hungry children. yes, yes, i know, you can’t see them. but the intent in any of these is to convey the sense without the boundaries that lend direction. well, it’s becoming that. anyway…
i’m experimenting with layering and blending as an additional tool. not sure i like it yet… but i do like the way it adds symmetry.
