dancing in the meadow
misty morning mauves and
lingering twilight twinkling
the dandelion
spun, run, won
the race
with a dew drop
to the edge of the leaf
hovering upon the tip
quiver, shiver, sliver
of moisture falling
only to be caught
by pyrite
dendritic glistening
radiant spike
clipped, slipped, tumbling
fragrant hair fanned wide
seeds releasing
bliss upon new breezes
fool’s gold glimmer
in the still, silent morn’
stoic mineral murmurs
earthbound farewells
as
feathery, wafting, swirling, spinning
dandelion dervishes, begin from ending
spread cilium hope wide
seeking fertile ground
