honor and delight, a poem rises from nowhere and demands to be written. i oblige.
we speak, sigh and breathe
across miles
sharing thoughts and images
of pure sensuality
but the thrill shared
is not so much that heady musk or
urgent desire as
the closeness, the care
the willingness we
each to the other most tenderly give
all things for you, with you, to you
i breathe
frissions of reaction, i shiver
as you groan
echo over miles that touches me
the lofty leaping lusciousness
of you
sets moisture rising
i ripple within
for all the things
i would splash over you
the tide is coming in
sharp, sweet, and salty
upon the shore
float you like a feather
like a string of ocean pearls
nestled and glistening
against me
dive you like a rock
heavy and thick plummeting
come you inside
rest you here, deeply
settle into the silt beds
rocking slowly
until, all energy spent
we are truly one
elemental
