working with a few new images and the concept of transmuting negativity. adding another to the digital art pile. this item contains numeric symbols relating to Buddhism, specifically, those which deal with the obstructions, the poisons, the eightfold path, and the four states. the shift, left to right, demonstrations the manner in which moving from the five and the three via the eightfold path and maintaining it by four states delivers the outcome for which the piece is titled.

playing around with photos tonight, i got kind of obssessed on this mouth. i couldn’t quite manage to cut it up the way i normally would… and when i got to thinking on that, the rest came to me kind of naturally.

some time ago, i purposed to do a series of contemplation on the eightfold path. life decided to jump up and snarl the traces for a time and i did not proceed as planned. i am doing so. this is the fourth of what will eventually be eight posts, upon the eightfold path as outlined in the Buddhist tradition: Right View, Right Intention, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, Right Concentration.
