i had a very insightful and poignant conversation with the master sergeant last night. in the moment of its happening, i knew i would soon write of it. and here i am, doing so…

for some while, i’ve been getting daily horoscopes on my phone. i haven’t yet explored how to get rid of them, for all i keep saying that i am going to… i never quite get ’round to it.

i thought of you today. first time in some time i have done so. it was an odd thing, this thinking. i remember when thinking of you immediately resulted in anger, resentment, grief, and sorrow.

so, today is the day when much of the world is celebrating having a heart.

the master sergeant, tender one that he is, tells me in conversation (after reading the previous post) that i am missing the point… when asked why, he tells me that to think i do not ‘get my point across’ is a foolishness.

the weekend finds me saying goodbye to two… one, a person i thought a friend who chooses not to be so, and the other, a tender delight who even now, is on a plane to his home.
