afternoon delight 02
wowsah. you know, one of the coolest things about Buddhism is how it is literally reshaping my perspectives on people. i had not realize what a cynic i’d become until i started meeting people and having ‘all this Buddhism’ show me in some pretty interesting ways how others are delightful, precious, amazing, and utterly beautiful beings.
new friends are fun!
never really thought about this place as a possible touchstone for meeting new people. hah. how’s that for lack of forethought? but i’m starting to get pings from new and interesting places of late, and it is with a certain, soft delight that i undertake to explore them all as fully as possible.
evening thoughts
not quite dinner time, a fulfilling day at work, soon to practice and then perhaps a tile. for now, letting whatever wants to be said out, onto the page.

i slept so peacefully last night that it actually surprised me. green tara and medicine Buddha and the two practices. Rinpoche was right, why forget good things for the foolishness that is self, pride, and fear?

my lama reminds me of two things… of that which we had at that time agreed. first, that all such things would be placed here, second, that when faced with any more such things, i would turn instead to these.
