sitting here listening to Conjure One, slowly going through moments and memories of this year, preparing to release some to the universe, carefully archive others, and set a few into a mental vase for continued enjoyment.

well. today is a day of strange happenings all the way around. earlier this afternoon, i receive a call from a good friend telling me they will not be around much anymore, needing to redirect focus to things in proximity.

strange happening as i went to run errands and fill the gas tank. i’ve been going to the same station for some time now… the folks that run it are Buddhist, we talk now and then as i’m in line or when it is slow for them.

elsewhere, a pundit asked the question, ‘what would Trump do?’ the question was in regard to the many contradictions that striate our society. how we speak of charity but are so often uncharitable. among other things. the discussion engaged, my thoughts brought from there to here, for later contemplation….

spent most of yesterday gaping at my computer in astonishment as it slowly fell apart. power supply fried. i’m lucky it didn’t burn everything into a misshapen, plastic lump. it managed to take out my agp slot in the process. for a time, i thought it had damaged more… but without video, no way to know.

got an email from a friend in the uk tonight. he sends to me a most unusual image. the artist, someone by the name of ‘varo’. in looking at it, i knew at once why he sent it, and i smiled for it. the woman in the image stands with a shimmering circle in her hands. but it is sharp and unable to be other than hurtful. at the point where it met in front of her, there is now a gap. she has broken it. and inside her, the skies over the forest finally clear, and a path may […]

steak and potato in the oven, the smell is at once torment and promise. heh. i’m looking forward to this meal. the last few days have been spent overhauling the guild domain and setting in place a front end not unlike this one. now that we’re approaching 100 members, it seemed a good idea.
