Dear BP (and to those who care and are willing to ACT):

As I’m sure you are aware, the disaster in the Gulf is spreading and apparently, neither BP nor our government have solutions. But there is a group of people working in conjunction with salons and pet stores, grooming facilities, and related placesĀ that do have at least a solution for containment and clean-up: Hair, Fur, and Fleece booms: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj_mna5lckg Matter of Trust is a group coordinating and distributing hair, fur, and fleece booms to assist in the containment and clean-up and YOU can help!! A happy validation

Contrary to popular belief (chuckle), I am generally quite a happy person; happy with life overall, but for a few, small spots of discontent. Indeed, I’d say happier than most, all things considered. interesting linkage

Surprisingly good. http://www.thru-you.com/ Finally, I’m a bit late on this one, but here’s a paper demonstrating NASA’s work on dark matter. Looks like Einstein wins… and a few interesting things besides. http://www.stanford.edu/group/xoc/papers/macs0025.html

New specs!

Hah! I am posting both to crow a bit about FINALLY (finally, finally, finally, finally!) finding a pair of glasses that I actually WANT to WEAR and also to tip the hat, advertise for, and generally give happy thoughts to Eyes on Fremont for being the coolest, funkiest, most fun, and totally trendy eye emporium I’ve ever found. I’ll let the specs “speak” for themselves… if you’re in Seattle, wear glasses, and are looking for something unique, different, funky, cool, and fun, I really recommend you check them out!
