addendum and unrelated update

addendum, 04-11-08: text is a horrible medium for meeting people unless you happen to be very much alike to begin with… seeing as i am already admitting to my alien nature (heh) you can imagine the outcomes are often quite confusing for me. suffice to say contact continues and i remain a kitten with a string. we’ll how or if it unfolds… in other news…

you know i just don’t get men

i swear, i must be an alien or something. it is purely annoying how this is a pattern that just will not shift. i had a friend of mine make an introduction between me and a friend of his. i was enthused. intrigued, actually…. but apparently being so is verboten. or so it would seem by the profound silence that is ever in its wake.

boycotting china

having watched this get more and more ridiculous over time, i have finally made up my mind that i am no longer willing to buy products from a country who can treat its people as i am seeing china treat its people.

Feast of Love

the second movie tonight, recently finished. a good choice for reasons i will not delve into whatever. i recommend it, particularly if you need a reminder of what really matters in life.

Solaris

i received a free itunes coupon today and saw a name i didn’t recognize. read the brief on it and was intrigued, skipped the trailer and decided to rent it on download. it was called Solaris and was, apparently, a remake of a russian original circa the 70’s based upon a 1961 book by Stanislaw Lem. in a word — woah.
