garden key

found a few items that reminded me of my great-grandmother’s garden. she had several, really… the one where she grew flowers, the one where she grew vegetables, and the one where someone used to paint. this, spun from those memories.

wood yew

this totally didn’t go where i thought it would, but that’s ok. the wood grain result is a nice surprise. the source pictures were photographic and completely anything other than wood. interestingly, three elements of the seven used were of a specific thematic that now, will remain a mystery to all but me.

transitions and changes

well. impossible logistics to get to practice and teachings the next city over… and most teachings scheduled are set at times when working folk like myself are slaving over a hot desk. unfortunately, it seems i will miss most of the upcoming teachings. and almost all of the mentored practice. i have found a smaller sangha closer to home, but they will be radio silent until mid-january. hopefully at that time, i’ll be able to share practice. so.. back to the daily routines here, med/practice morning, mid-day, and evening….  study for the hour thereafter, as it seems my mind is […]
